These terms apply when you use PDFToolsHub. They're written to be short and clear — please read them before using the tools. By using the site, you agree to them.
1. The service
PDFToolsHub provides free online tools for working with PDF and related files: converting, organizing, compressing, securing, signing and editing documents. All tools run in your web browser, as described in our Privacy Policy. No account is needed.
2. Your files and your responsibilities
- You keep all rights to the files you process. We don't claim ownership of your documents or results.
- You must have the right to use, modify and convert every file you process with PDFToolsHub.
- You are responsible for checking that results are correct and suitable before relying on them, and for keeping copies of your original files.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PDFToolsHub to:
- process content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights, including copyright;
- remove, bypass or defeat password protection or other restrictions on documents you are not authorised to access;
- attempt to harm our systems, for example with malware;
- disrupt the service, overload it, or send automated or bulk requests to it.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
4. Signatures and security features
- Sign PDF adds a visible image of a signature. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, and we make no statement about whether a signed document is legally valid for any purpose.
- Protect PDF and Encrypt PDF apply standard PDF encryption. Permission settings are honoured by standard PDF readers but can be ignored by some software. Lost passwords cannot be recovered by us.
5. No warranty
PDFToolsHub is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We work to make the tools reliable, but we don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that results will be accurate or complete, or that the tools are suitable for any particular purpose.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, PDFToolsHub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes to the service and these terms
We may add, change or remove tools at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PDFToolsHub after a change means you accept the updated terms.
