About Add Text to PDF
Fill in forms that aren't interactive, add notes, dates or names, or label a diagram. Click where you want the text, type it, and fine-tune its size, colour and position.
Text is written into the PDF with a standard font that supports English and Western European languages. The preview shows exactly where each line will appear, and your file stays on your device.

Place and edit your text
Click on the page where you want text, type it in the side panel and choose its size and colour. Drag text boxes to move them, and use the arrows to switch pages.
Click “Add text”

Add Text to PDF accepts one PDF file. Each file can be up to 50 MB. Files are checked when you add them, so anything that isn't a valid PDF file is rejected with an explanation.
No. Add Text to PDF runs in your browser, so your files stay on your device.
No. This tool adds new text on top of your pages; it doesn't change existing text. To hide something, you could add a white image over it with Add Image to PDF.
Text is added with the standard Helvetica font, which supports English and most Western European languages (including accented letters like é, ü and ñ). Other scripts such as Arabic, Chinese or Cyrillic aren't supported yet — the tool tells you if your text contains characters it can't add.
